Your data, plainly.

Overview

Tanto Cuisine cooks and delivers food. To do that we need a small amount of information about you: who you are, where to deliver, and how you pay. We collect what the service requires and little else.

The data controller is Timesty SRL, registered at Rue du Duc 60, 1150 Woluwe-Saint-Pierre, Belgium. We follow the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Belgian data-protection law. We do not sell your data. Ever.

What we collect

• Account details, name, email, phone, password (stored hashed).
• Delivery details, address, postcode, delivery notes and the delivery window you chose, Sunday or Monday.
• Order history, the dishes you choose, quantities and dates.
• Payment metadata, the provider used and a masked card or voucher reference. We never see or store full numbers.
• Usage data, basic, privacy-respecting analytics about how the site is used.
• Waitlist details, your email address, your postcode, your language, and which page you signed up from. We collect these when you check whether we deliver to your address or when you join the waitlist. We use them only to tell you when we open and whether we deliver to you, and for nothing else.

How we use it

To cook the right food, deliver it to the right door on the right day, take payment, and tell you when something changes about your order.

With your consent, we send a weekly menu and the occasional reminder before the Wednesday deadline. You can turn these off in your account at any time, in one tap.

Vouchers & payments

Payments, card, Bancontact and the Edenred, Pluxee and Monizze meal-voucher cards, are processed by Mollie, our payment provider. Card and voucher numbers are entered with Mollie and never touch our servers. We retain only what we need to recognise a returning payment method and to keep our books.

Cookies

We use the few cookies the site needs to work, the ones that keep you signed in and remember your box between visits. Analytics cookies are optional and only set with your consent. No advertising trackers.

Sharing

We share data only with the partners who help run the service, and only the part each needs:

• Mollie, to process your payment.
• Our delivery team, your name, address and window, for the Sunday or Monday round.
• Email provider, to send confirmations and, if you opt in, the weekly menu.

Each is bound by contract to protect your data and use it only on our instructions.

Retention

We keep account and order data while your account is active, and for as long afterwards as the law requires (invoices, for instance, are kept for the statutory accounting period). Close your account and we delete what we are not legally obliged to keep.

Waitlist details are kept until you ask us to delete them, or until the waitlist has served its purpose and we close it, whichever comes first. Write to hello@tantocuisine.com to be removed at any time. You do not need an account to ask, and we do not ask you why.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you may, at any time:

• Access the data we hold about you.
• Correct anything inaccurate.
• Ask us to delete it (the “right to be forgotten”).
• Export it in a portable format.
• Object to or restrict certain processing, and withdraw consent.

Email us and we will action your request within one month. You also have the right to complain to the Belgian Data Protection Authority.
